OK, so yes, I did venture off to the east coast to see D.C. and whatnot. It was a lot of fun. Lets see I saw all the monuments in the District of Columbia like Lincoln, the Vietnam, Korean, Washington monument (how can you not see that), the air force monument, etc. My favorite was the Smithsonian museum of Natural History, it was amazing. The museum of American History was interesting too. I saw Arlington Cemetery, which was pretty remarkable and saddening at the same time. Speaking of death, we drove up to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania the site of one of the bloodiest battles during the civil war, little round top, and the Wheatfield. Gettysburg was the host of the battles that eventually lead to the North winning the war, it was a turning point for them and before the battle of Little Round Top they were getting their asses handed to them by the South. But anyway, there are so many monuments to see in that little area ugh it was almost too much history to take in. It was definitely the coolest place I went. I even went to Washington, Jefferson, And Monroes houses (estates rather). Oh, and I saw the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Magna Carte. So much learning in two weeks O_o, but it was cool.
So other than that that I went camping Yeah kinda pales in comparison. Haha. However, I have discovered the si-fi section at the book store O_o hahaha yeah. Um Im now reading the Chronicles of Chaos by John C. Wright. And its really inspiring, I might even give you a rendition of the characters (cause Im that much of a fangirl). He's a pretty good writer and his knowledge of Mythology is Quite impressive so the book is rather interesting.
Sorry if I bored anyone.
